NEGROS ISLAND

Negros Island spurred from volcanic origin with Kanlaon Volcano in its vicinity. It is known as the Sugar Bowl of the Philippines for its vast sugar cane plantations and the first island to adapt organic farming practices.   Dumaguete City, “the city of gentle people”, also a university town, lies on the southern tip of Negros Island where you can access several places of interest for SUP and other activities.   Nearby is Apo Island, known as a premium dive spot for rare species of marine animals and the home of friendly sea turtles. There is a 7-kilometer white sandbar that reveals itself during low tide where we stop for lunch after a dolphin show in the morning and SUP the rest of the day.   There are hot springs, waterfalls and lakes that we visit in close proximity to the city.  At night, the city turns into a lively array of restaurants and bars to cap off a full day of amazing activities.   Discover more what’s amazing about Negros Island.
